The ultimate ghost hunting company Ghostly Endeavours have put together a spectacular night of ghost hunting. Some details of Stanley Palace are below for your information 18th June 2010. 9:pm through to 4:am £39:ppReal ghost, reported hauntings, high levels of paranormal activity, Haunted Chester awaits the ghost hunter at Stanley Palace It is reported that Stanley Palace is the most haunted house in Chester! Built in 1591, also known as Derby House, it now a grade II listed building which also stands on the site previously thought to be occupied by a Dominican Friary. The man who owned and built the original building was Peter Warburton who was a lawyer who went on to have a variety of other positions in his life such as a sergeant-at-law, a judge and a member of parliament to name a few.
Stanley Palace has had its share of visitors and many have told afterwards of the strange and chilling presence they felt whilst visiting. Many have reported hearing children’s giggles, and soft moans and murmurs. The figure of a lady dressed in 17th Century clothing has on a number of occasions been seen entering the Queen Anne Room, footsteps have been heard in the gallery and strange smells filling the air at any time of the day.
Ghost hunting reaches a new level at Stanley Palace and the leaders in this field Ghostly Endeavours will take you on the ghost hunting event of a lifetime.
We will search for the Monks that once dwelled on this site and we may catch a glimpse of a Roman soldier as he wanders between the two worlds, he’s been seen many times before.
You don’t have to be a seasoned ghost hunter to enjoy this event; we have a full team on hand with experienced mediums/psychics and the latest in ghost hunting equipment.
during your investigation you will be shown how to use ghost hunting equipment and will have on hand our guest medium/psychic for extra support.
Hot and cold refreshments and plenty of tasty snacks will be provided throughout the ghost hunting investigation.
Please note; this ghost hunting event is strictly for the over 18s only, no alcohol permitted at any times.

Your Ghostly Endeavours event includes;
- Working closely with mediums and psychics
- Full use of investigation equipment, emf readers, heat detectors, dowsing rods and crystals
- Experiments with glass moving and table tipping, some events have white noise experiments
- Carry out your own investigation using your newly learned skills or in a small group
- Refreshments will be provided throughout the night, teas, coffee, juices and biscuits. Should you wish to bring your own snacks you are more than welcome to do so
Please note; you are encouraged to bring with you a torch and spare batteries, a digital camera and digital camcorder for your personal use on your investigation.
